NEW BOYS REVISITED
(CONTINUED)

Dean Leacock
Our Survey said -
"Dean Leacock is a defender who can play all across the back and came up through the Fulham youth ranks. He had a brief spell in the 1st team when the team was injury strickened. After that he joined coventry on loan and seemed to impress, but then he was told he was not needed and left."

The Reality -
After one of the worst debuts in DCFC history, he went from strength to strength. Not sure who currently plays at the back for Fulham but I'd be astonished if they were better than Deano. Chris Coleman was sacked for his error of judgement. Probably.

Steven Bywater
Our survey said -
"My general impression, which was borne out by comments made by Alan Pardew at a fans’ forum, was that whilst Bywater had everything required to become a top ‘keeper, there was something in his temperament that somehow let him down when playing in front of a crowd. He never quite inspired confidence in either his players or in the crowd, but he wasn’t a total worry either."

The Reality -
Another who went from strength to strength. A big character who seemed to revel in the big games as apposed to being intimidated by them. The main issue with his temperament was that he was a complete mentalist!

Mo Camara
Our survey said -
"Rubbish at his main job of defending but puts in a tidy cross or two for your strikers. Let's hope you don't come up against two many decent right wingers in the Championship this year."

The Reality -
Without letting anyone down, Mo lived up to his Celtic billing. Was harshly axed for big Jay and we haven't seen him since. Had a bizarre surge in popularity around April on the back of several Jay howlers. Still didn't get a sniff of the first team though.

Bob Malcolm
Our survey said -
"For all his faults - he lacked pace, tended to be rash in the tackle and was prone to the odd bout of forgetting where he  was! - most Rangers fans will have fond memories of the big fella. A 100% kind of guy, he gave the job body and soul. He is a good reader of the game and can make the telling pass."

The reality - Another who is currently lost in action, possibly t be never seen again. After a solid start, was outed as a limited performer even at Championship level. Billy spent months bigging him up and then totally fucked him off.
