DCFC GRAVEYARD - JULY 2009

Welcome back to the Ramspace Graveyard. Regular readers will know this as the article formerly know as
'The Departure Lounge'. However whilst we continue to ship out the deadwood that we've been lumbered with,
the Graveyard still seems much more suitable.

Przemyslaw Kazmierczak
Aug 2008 – July 2009

Signed at the last minute after the collapse of the Ferrie Bodde transfer. Jagger went to a Pro celebrity golf tournament in the Algarve and we signed Kaz from Porto a few days later. Coincidence?

 Epitaph
A 6’ 4” international, Champions League midfielder sounded too good to be true. It was.

Tito Villa

 Jan 2008 – July 009

Jagger admitted the signing was a gamble and it didn’t come off. Tito’s passion and work-rate often put his team-mates to shame but his strike rate was poor, weirdly not scoring a single premier league goal with his feet! His equaliser at St. Andrews was a gem though and ultimately sent Birmingham down.

 Epitaph
Good bloke, Great Attitude, Shit footballer.

Nathan Ellington

July 2008 - July 2009

Never has a players’ stock fallen so quickly since Michael Ricketts; and The Duke looks to be on a one-way trip to Walsall. It’s difficult to pinpoint where it all went wrong but whatever made him worth £4m is definitely long gone.

Epitaph
Thanks for the penalty at Stoke. Junction 25 of the M1 will take you back to Watford.

Andy Todd

June 2007 - June 2009

Andy Todd was signed by Billy Davies to bring top flight experience and his uncompromising brand of defending to the newly promoted Rams. Unfortunately, he left it all somewhere in Lancashire and decided to 'opt out' of the majority of our premier league debacle.

Epitaph
If you thought Colin tarnished the family name with his spell as manager, you should have seen Andy play.

Mile Sterjovski

Jan 2008 – June 2009

Bruce was another of Jagger’s January trolley-dash signings. Oddly for a right-winger, he didn’t appear to have pace, never skinned his man and wasn’t a brilliant crosser of the ball. What did he do? We’re still wondering.

Epitaph
Like Villa, he seemed like a nice bloke. Also like Villa, his signing stank of DVD scouting.

Nacer Barazite

Aug 2008 - June 2009

Nacer has bags and bags of talent and his pedigree was clear to see as he glided past opponents and never lumped the ball Championship-style. Another 10 goals and 10 assists would make him a superstar. Will he make the step-up or become another Lupoli?

Epitaph
Next time an important last-minute penalty comes up, just walk away.
