Barometer - June 2007

What a day, What a win,
What a manager,
what a miserable sod!

Monday 28th May 2007 - This date will now be etched in Rams history forever. What an amazing day, to my mind, with all things considered, unlikely to be topped for some time. The result, the emotion, the celebrations - shared with family, mates and complete strangers alike. I'm 34 with 2 kids and this was without doubt in the top 5 best days of my life.
Billy Davies - Like him or loathe him, you can't argue that he really is our king and  has performed a miracle at DCFC. He may have made mistakes in the run in, but the way he revitalised the team for the play offs was outstanding. Can't wait to see how he attacks the Prem.
Graham Poll - Like most people I've never liked him but got the two peno calls spot on, from 3 yards away. Also loved his over exaggerated, peacock stance signalling of the final whistle.
The Chelsea Dagger - I don't like the Fratelli's that much and have always thought this tune was pure cheese on toast Indie. However it will now forever remind me of the beautiful moment when Matty lifted the trophy at Wembley. The albums on order.
Tyrone Mears - I could have knocked him out after the Palace game and mercilessly caned him on the forum. Fair play to him though, he was mega at wembley and his pace and timing were crucial on several occasions.

Based on his showing at
Wembley, he should lose the
 "Tye" for good!

Murder at the Vicarage?
Mystery in the boardroom
more like.

Billy's Post Match Comments -  Sure there's some stuff to sort out, but was there really any need for the "nothing's 100%" & "I'll raise a glass to Dave Kelly" comments in our finest hour. Quick answer - No.
Forest 2 Yeovil 5 - Just as a brief aside, have you ever enjoyed a none DCFC game as much as this? Funny as fuck doesn't even come close. What an utter shower.
Bizarre Kick Off times - If you thought that Sky had our arse last season, wait until we're getting it from Sky and Setanta in the big league. Fair to say Saturday 15.00 is all over..
Southampton - Miserable, whinging, sore losers. Pathetic attempts to psyche us out backfired big time when it came down to it. "Dirty Northern Bastards", Waste of space southern nothing club more like.
The Marples - Our legal department have advised me to say nothing. However you can check out various threads on various messageboards like we can. Allegedly they weren't at the Saints home game, lets see if they attend the first home game next season.

Yes mate, it is Yeovil and that
was their fifth goal. It could be worse, well actually it couldn't.
