marquee summer signing finally getting a run in the team and
looking absolute class. Long may Shaun be our number 5 and
surely our next captain when Savage moves to the BBC full
time. |

It's been a tough
first full season for Nigel and he certainly hasn't got
everything right. However his transfer activity and, in
particular his gaming of the loan market has been flawless.

No one was looking forward to this but the Rams absolutely
nailed the Red Dogs and fully deserved the win. The inspired
recall of Commons and the all round in your face, energy was
too much for Billy's usual spoiling tactics. If Scunthorpe
was the zenith, this was the turning point |
| Johnny Metgod -
It had not gone unnoticed by
the spacerams that Metgod had blatantly moved up the back
room pecking order in recent weeks. Now joining Holland at
the World Cup, Apparently Crosby is still waiting for the
call from Capello. |

Held up as a symbol of
everything that was wrong with Nigel early doors, now
morphing into cult hero and a quality Championship centre

It's not really
worked out has it? I always thought Crofty was a dangerous
opponent and I actually quite like him as a player. Lets
hope he can turn it around next season.. |
